Spike Friedman
Spike is a founding member of the Satori Group. Fans of Satori may have seen him as Michael in TRAGEDY: a tragedy or Theo in Artifacts of Consequence. In the future they may see him adapting George Saunders’ short story Winky for the stage with the company or performing in The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol. He will be doing both of those things.
Before working with Satori, Spike trained and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York, where he improvised with the Harold Team Raynard. He performed and wrote for a number of other shows at the UCB. In Seattle, Spike also writes and performs with the sketch comedy group Ubiquitous They and performs improv with Funbucket, a Wing-It Production. Spike graduated from Williams College with a BA in Theatre and Economics, where he received the Gilbert W. Gabriel award for Excellence in Theatre.
