Associate Artist, Management/Performance

Shannon Waits is a social worker, community advocate and artistic collaborator with a strong passion for the interception of social justice and performance-based art.  Works with the Satori Group include Stage Management for Artifacts of Consequence and assistant stage manager for Tragedy: A Tragedy.  Other projects in Seattle include stage management and lighting design for Eclectic Theater Company’s Ghosts and set designer for Woyzeck. Shannon has also written, produced and performed many backyard and staged puppet shows with her former troupe: Papier Mache Theater, both domestically and abroad.  While living in New York, Shannon produced and was assistant director for This Little Light of Mine, and curator at the Arts for PEACE gallery.  Shannon is honored and excited to be an Associate Artist with the Satori Group.
